senior season.

Senior season is the best season in this photographer’s opinion. I LOVE doing senior sessions so much. As a former high school English teacher, I just love the age. The excitement of the final year of school. Working with an almost grown up who actually wants to have their photo taken helps sweeten the deal. Alaina opted for my “back roads” session which is a loop that I do with the seniors who request it. It’s my favorite because no matter how many seniors I take on the loop, we always manage to make the photos still look unique and special.

the final days of summer.

My favorite shots from my session with one of my favorite families. They love having their picture taken (okay, dad just goes along with it), and I LOVE that about them. I thought I would never see them again when they moved out of state, and was SO pleased they asked me to take their photos while they were up for a visit. Let’s make this a yearly thing, shall we? 😉

Mr. & Mrs. Buczek

I don’t advertise myself as a wedding photographer because I’m really not up for the challenge of the 8 hour day, especially now that I have a little babe. I prefer intimate affairs. Couples who are on a budget, or are simply having a small wedding because they feel like it. Those are my people. I photograph the ceremony, family photos, and bride and groom portraits. Two hours of my time is $500, not including travel. You get anywhere between 200-300 photographs. If you are looking for something a little more low key and affordable on your wedding day, give me a shout. In the meantime, check out my latest work from the wedding I shot a few weeks ago at the Buffalo Botanical Gardens.

These two are the real deal.

…and i’m back!

Oh my goodness, what a whirlwind it has been since my last post. I became a mom. My life got turned upside down. And 14 weeks later I can finally breathe again. Most of the time. Having a baby is no joke. I am truly blessed to have this business that I can work as much or as little as I want to. Super thankful for my amazing clients, especially those of you who have stuck with me through my price change. I pride myself on being an affordable photographer, but I needed to make some changes to make this “job” work, especially now that my time is so much more valuable since having my little babe. I am now offering clients twice as many photos as I used to due to a switch in editing software. I’m super excited about that, and I know you will be, too!
